IASP & EFIC

IASP

The International Association on the Study of Pain (IASP) is the world’s leading organization dedicated to the study and practice of pain and pain relief. IASP brings together scientists, clinicians, health care providers and policy makers from around the world to fulfill its mission of helping pain patients.

The Swiss Pain Society is IASP’s national representative in Switzerland.

Every year, the IASP proclaims a “Global Year” on a pain topic. For this purpose, activities take place, factsheets are prepared and reviews are published in the journal Pain Reports. German translations of the factsheets will be linked on our homepage under Activities as soon as they are available, German translations of the reviews will appear with some latency in the journal Pain Reports.
