SIG Neuropathic pain

Aim

Since the founding of SIG “Neuropathic pain”, the main objective has been to have a position paper prepared by Swiss specialists in this field. The guidelines for physicians, including advice on classification, diagnostic procedures, psychological aspects, drug and non-drug treatments, as well as on the management of specific pathologies, were written in German and French and published in November 2011 as a supplement in the Swiss Medical Forum.

Since then, SIG has been working on the dissemination of these recommendations, and through publications in specialist journals.
