SIG CANoP

Aim

The overarching aim of CANoP is to stimulate scientific exchanges among researchers whose work is related to cognitive and/or affective aspects of pain and/or supraspinal pain modulation and modulatory therapeutic strategies in Switzerland and possibly in bordering countries. Importantly, CANoP is aimed also at scientists working in research fields that intersect with pain research but whose focus might not be necessarily pain.

We aim at developing a topic-centered network of scientists, leading to better visibility of the different groups working in this field in Switzerland and likely to new scientific collaborations.

CANoP organizes scientific meetings on a regular basis. The meetings are open to all members of the SPS and the broader scientific community, welcoming researchers and clinicians at every level of training and practice.

In addition, CANoP holds an organizational meeting for its members each year at the annual congress of the SPS. These meetings are also open to other interested SPS members.

A network with a mailing list is established, allowing relevant information regarding international or national conferences and events to be distributed.

An up-to-date list of all SIG members can be viewed here in PDF format.
