SIG Pain Research

Aim

Pain research is a central pillar of the Swiss Pain Society, underpinning evidence-based clinical practice, innovation, and education. The Pain Research SIG aims to strengthen the visibility, coherence, and impact of pain-related research within the SPS by fostering networking, interdisciplinarity, and inclusivity across basic, translational, and clinical research domains. It will provide a structured platform to connect researchers and clinicians, align national research activities with international developments, and actively support early-career members. Through these activities, the SIG will enhance the scientific profile of the SPS, contribute to high-quality scientific programming at SPS meetings, and facilitate efficient knowledge exchange and collaboration at both national and international levels.
